Job Description:
A company is looking for a Clinical Referral Specialist I with a
preference for Epic specialty scheduling experience.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate care for referral orders and facilitate access to
providers and medical services
Schedule complex specialty appointments and communicate pre and
post-appointment instructions to patients
Document all scheduling attempts in the patient's electronic health
record and notify providers of any changes
Required Qualifications
High School Graduate
Typically requires 1 year of experience in a medical group focusing
on patient care coordination
Experience in Epic specialty scheduling preferred
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer
requirements
Familiarity with patient-focused software systems and medical
terminology
