Physical Therapist required to assess patients, develop treatment plans, and provide direct care in a fast-paced sports medicine environment.

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our sports medicine department, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing direct care.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Assess patients to determine treatment needs and develop comprehensive plans
  
• Provide direct patient care, including physical therapy treatments and education
  
• Document patient progress and communicate with caregivers and healthcare professionals
  
• Collaborate with physical therapists and leadership to develop programs and services
  
• Train and mentor students and interns
  
• Supervise assistants and rehabilitation technicians
  
  
  Requirements:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university-based program
    
  • Current license to practice Physical Therapy in Texas or through the Physical Therapy Compact Commission
    
  • Basic Life Support certification
    
  • Occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds, prolonged standing, and frequent walking, stooping, and squatting
    
    
    Accountabilities:
    
    
    • 
      
    • Assume responsibility for patient care and safety
      
    • Perform comprehensive evaluations and accurately interpret findings
      
    • Develop and implement treatment plans, including advanced physical therapy techniques
      
    • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
      
    • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals
      
    • Manage time effectively and document patient information accurately

      • Participate in departmental committees and task forces
        
      • Pursue clinical expertise in specific treatment techniques or patient populations
        
      • Present special topics in professional literature at clinic meetings and conferences
        
      • Ensure safe care to patients, staff, and visitors
