Position TitleBilling Manager - L.C. - Business Services - Diboll, TXPosition NumberP #1569General DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Billing Manager to oversee and optimize our billing, collections, and reimbursement processes. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient revenue cycle operations, including insurance verification, claims processing, denial management, and patient billing. This ensures compliance with Medicaid, Medicare, and other funding sources while working to maximize reimbursement and reduce financial barriers for clients. The Billing Manager will oversee and supervise the Billing Department's daily operations and will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Applicants must have a driving record insurable by Burke's insurance administrator.EducationRequired: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration or similar from an accredited college or university. Preferred: Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Healthcare Administration from an accredited college or university. ExperienceRequired: Two (2) years of experience in business or related field.Preferred: One (1) year of experience in revenue cycle management or 5 (five) years of experience with a strong background in accounting or business. Preferred: Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and billing systems.As well as proficiency in Excel. Including but not limited to pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analytics to track revenue trends and improve reporting accuracy. Licenses/CertificationsRequired: Valid Texas driver's license.Physical RequirementsRequired: Must use visual and motor skills to efficiently and accurately enter data; utilize computer and calculator; sit for long periods of time throughout the day; mobility required to bend, reach, lift 25 pounds, and must have legible handwriting.HoursMonday - Friday; Generally, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Salary$65,000 - $75,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience
